April 10, 2023 - PNP. Very deep dark purplish magenta color. Raspberry, forest floor, walnut, and boysenberry. Smooth, tongue drying palate. Firm tannins on the longish finish.
Pretty rich/solid for a ‘17. I’m not confident this will get much better. -

August 12, 2022 - Drinking beautifully. Came out bold and powerful but very well balanced. Has plenty of shelf life potential but can easily drink now. Dark berry, light tannins. Leather and ok kites as well.

January 15, 2022 - PNP at the winery. I love Turnbull, but this was red fruited and very tight. Very typical ‘17 CS. Air could help, but this will never hold a candle to ‘16 or ‘18.
