May 4, 2024 - Nice wine, quite ripe, not so delicate. Delicious at chilled cellar temp.

February 4, 2024 - Scotch-like band-aid scent made it impossible for me to enjoy. In prior tastings these were deep, dark wines. Could be bret. [Edited – noticed this morning that the off scent blew off, so not bret. Will update later.] Came back to it, and the scent was still present with some VA-like smells. Something just wrong w/this one bottle.

March 12, 2023 - Medicinal nose upon opening. The wine improved over two days and just gist better and better. Nice medium+ body and some tannins. Im gonna wait 2-3 years before opening the next bottle.

September 21, 2022 - A nice Marsannay and surprisingly full bodied, perhaps reflecting the vintage. Dark fruits and good acidity. May improve further with age.

July 31, 2022 - I knew I opened this on the early side but I was curious, and my experience with 2018s are that they drink well young. I was worried when I first tasted it immediately on opening - it was brooding and closed but with limited aeration what emerged was a surprisingly fresh yet deep Marsannay. Good tannins, acid and dark fruit with forest floor notes. Went well with fish but would hold its own with meat. No need to rush though - hold for at least 2-3 years before trying again.
