February 25, 2024 - Not as velvety as other peay wines

October 15, 2023 - Let me start here by saying, "I just like PEAY wines"! This pinot is no exception. Their wines, although are traditionally "lighter" in body than must typical pinots (and chards). However, what they like in body is made up for in flavor and aromas. Mellow, smooth, silky... that is a summation of all Peay wines.

March 12, 2023 - Beautiful Pinot noir!! Drank exceptionally well with a New York strip steak.

August 30, 2022 - This will be spectacular in 5 years. A little sharp and acidic now but still with the delicacy that makes Peay the best Pinot in the world.

November 21, 2021 - Decanted for about an hour. Dark cherry, rocks and a hint of mushroom on the nose. Out of the bottle there was much more cherry cola but it dissipated quickly. On the palate, high acidity, almost out of balance. Long finish. This was a great pairing for grilled salmon with a slightly spicy rub, wild rice and garden salad. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality.
