January 13, 2022 - My bottle says 12.5%. It does have a large dark fruit structure but the finish is strangely green and bitter. Maybe a stems thing? Would give this a couple years.

June 7, 2020 - First time with this cuvée. Powerful and ripe nose. Reminded me of an Oregon Pinot. It’s a rather big and intense wine and I was not that shocked when I looked at the ABV: a whopping 14% 😜
The palate, despite the 14%, is definitely not Oregonian with nice acidity and balance. Dark fruits with a hint of earthiness. This reminded of A young Morey-St-Denis Clos Solon. Impressive. In don’t think anyone would call it in the Loire blind.
Needs to be forgotten a few years.
