September 11, 2022 - Very so-so. This is the third vintage of Blindfold I have had in my inventory. The prior two were terrific wines......very exciting and different. This vintage is not near the prior ones. Perhaps the bottles were hurt during shipment.

July 27, 2022 - Consistent with prior bottles. Blindfold has always had a taste profile that is "different," but I never seem to be able to articulate the notes. I have had 2022 down as the last year in the drink window for this wine. I picked up on a little something in the drinking experience that makes me want to keep this year as the last year. Two bottles left.

July 18, 2022 - The theme continues. This was the third bottle of six. My reviews are consistently higher than other ct.com reviewers. I am usually not an outlier with my reviews and ratings.

September 16, 2021 - Gift of partial bottle - 14.5% abv.
Received a partial bottle to try from my Oenophile neighbor.
The 'Blindfold' is ostensibly a blend of Chardonnay with some 'White Rhône' blend and Viognier (2018 web page not available but 2019 mentions Chardonnay, Roussanne, Viognier, and Muscat).
The 18 prior tasting notes cover the wine's impressions well, but I thought 'zochavez's' note (low acid, flat, slight bitterness & alcohol notes) and 'oakville72's' note (2017 vintage-wine composition) most descriptive.
The nose on the Blindfold was fragrant with notes of white apple flower. The palate had notes of melon and apple, with hint of citrus; overall impression seemed rather bland ('hollow' - spouse commented); slight oak-iness with some alcohol notes. There did not seem to be a lot of acidity; the finish was short with a somewhat bitter taste.
Not a bad wine; a quite good wine, but it seems like even better marketing.
