September 7, 2021 - This got better with some air. Quite tertiary and delicious. Drinking next to a 2009 which showed the evolution and winemaking changes. Certainly the 09 was more concentrated and structured. But tonight I preferred the 95

March 20, 2021 - Good acidity and spice, lovely Pinot smell, on the light side expressing the vintage

December 3, 2020 - A bit piercing and unbalanced with a high pitch sharp red fruit but then short finish. A bit hard and for me the weakest of the vintages that evening (aside of the off bottle of 98).

July 22, 2020 - Suprisingly light. This was served blind and most thought a 1980s cote de beaune. Not a heavily structured wine and quite unassuming. Perhaps we expected more. But nonetheless, still a very elegant and delicate wine.

September 26, 2017 - A weaker bottle, at first had unpleasant aromas that burned off after about an hour. Then the nose settled into lovely masses of red fruit, earth, floral and savory flavors. The palate was mid weight with more red fruit and good balance, solid with coq au vin and cheese. Good showing after two hours but not as rich and dense as other bottles.
