October 24, 2021 - WWV merlot seems to be hit or miss. This is a miss. Very tight even after several hours. Not gettin an abundance of fruit. Maybe abut mire oak would have helped.

October 17, 2021 - The reticent nose features ripe aromas of cherry, plum, goji, soy sauce, and blackberry. Fine grained tannin and bright acid combine to produce a beautifully medium-bodied structure. The flavor profile includes cherry, mountain strawberry, orange zest, milk chocolate, and fresh herb. This is decently accessible at the moment with an hour or two decant, but the density of the tannin, brightness of acid suggest, and delineation of flavor suggest that this has room for improvement with a solid five years of aging behind it.
