June 11, 2022 - Textural wash over your mouth like slate. Beautiful. The whole thing is like riesling swapping the massive acid for blossoms but keeping all else.
Lots of orchard fruit tastes and smells. -

December 19, 2021 - I figured I'd try one of these early as I've only ever had White Hermitage that's 10+ years old. Super tight and unyielding most of the night. The nose was closed at first, but slowly emerged after 4-5 hours of air to reveal hints of green apple, slate, and a touch of peach. Similar flavors in the mouth, but it took nearly 7 hours for the finish to finally emerge (and it was the last glass). I'll hold remaining bottles 10-15 hours. 92+
