February 23, 2023 - Been holding this bottle for 3 years how, and it's my only one of Adamus, a red blend of 45% cab, 35% merlot, 15% cab franc and a bit of petit verdot that is named after Csaba's son, Adam. Pnp'd and enjoyed over 2+ hours during/after dinner with Carol's expertly prepared Miso Chilean Sea Bass, wild rice with mushrooms, sautéed spinach and garlic, green beans and this beautiful wine. Needed about 90 minutes after popping to hit its peak. Nose of dark red plum/black raspberry fruit, and bark, leaves and graphite. Drinking far better than I ever remember it from previous tastings. Just very well integrated and beautiful. The acidic backbone begs for more years. Bordering on a 94 for me. Carol says 93 after admitting that it didn't float her boat at the pnp. She loves it now, especially so with dinner. Yes, a red with this big white fish! Ummmm, the perfect compliment to the big Miso glaze......and a potpourri of delectable mushrooms with wild rice. I am one happy cat!

March 19, 2022 - Lots of early tannins after 2 hour decant. Corked it and waited another 2 hours, and it had softened.

December 14, 2021 - Coravin’d a Glass and let it sit for ~90 minutes. Nice wine, but a tad underwhelming, especially for the price paid (which was about $25 less then the Community Price).

Nice, deep aroma, lots of black & blue fruit, forest floor, with vanilla and tobacco at the end. Very nice body & texture, with minimal acidity, and smooth tannins. Actually a nice wine, just wanted more for the money. 🤷🏼‍♂️

July 16, 2021 - Needs a really long decant to be enjoyed. Second day was much better.
