October 12, 2021 - Mid lemon-yellow. Nose of flint/stone, citrus, vanilla, Christmas spices. Palate confirms. The wine has a searing acidity and good length. Medium bodied with medium alcohol. Creamy texture in the mouth. Great minerality with well-judged oak. Delicious now but could hold on to it for a decade.

June 11, 2021 - Whiff of reduction but this shows some fresh flinty, pale citrus and green and yellow orchard fruits. Creamy but weightless palate impression but a mixed green/fern impression and flowers. Long, impressive length and sophisticated texture for its level. If only there was a bit more focus and freshness to this, and with time, perhaps it will get there. 91-92. Impressive juice. Will always be a bit on the soft side, for me, I think.
