This is a very pretty and approachable wine and would be more refreshing and crushable if it had more acid. Perhaps my favorite of the Spearhead vineyard designated PNs.

  October 7, 2022 - 2018 SpearHead Pinot Noir Coyote Vineyard (Okanagan)
  Pale garnet with oily legs (usually not a bad thing!). Complex aroma of strawberry, raspberry, cinnamon and red licorice with just a whiff of herbs. More fruity than earthy. Big flavours of cherry, pomegranate, rose hip plus a dash of clove. Soft well integrated tannins add to the sustained taste. Overall an elegant complex medium weight wine with just a smidge more acid than I prefer. Likely at its peak in 2 to 3 years.

  September 24, 2022 - Spearhead Winery, Okanagan Pinot Noir Vertical and Horizontal; 9/23/2022-9/24/2022 (Calgary, Alberta): Medium red. Floral, light red fruit. In the mouth it is light body, red currant, dances in the mouth, Marijuana. Not so complex. Next day: there is tension, red fruit, nice aromatics, a little bitter on the finish, quite interesting.
