November 27, 2019 - Much smoother than two years ago, hiding its alcohol well. Deep, subtle dark fruits, leather and spices. No raisin or port-like notes.

May 5, 2019 - Note written on second day: A bit too much alcohol in the bouquet. Plenty of fruit left, some plums. Grainy tannins and acidity keep the fruit in control. Perhaps a bit too acidic in aftertaste to balance things out. Like with most Spanish wines of this price category they offer great value, but show difficulty in rising above the flock.
