September 13, 2023 - Very aromatic with flowers, red currants and perfume. Palate was red fruit driven but slightly artificial which gave it away as new world when it was served blind. Very good fruit purity but notably light on the palate.

January 10, 2023 - This bottle in another restaurant without decanting. Enjoyed it more - wonderful freshness and intensity. Precise.

December 29, 2022 - Lovely nose, quite flowery in a Burgundian way. Clean and well defined. No red berry jam attack as in some other NZ Pinots, obviously.

December 22, 2022 - Mainly Bordeaux at Victuals: Slightly jammy nose that reminded me of a wine that undergone carbonic maceration, but wasn't funky in any way. A little reductive to start with, clearly a new-world Pinot with some ripe strawberry and cherries on the nose, some spice on the palate. Apparently this is one of the best new-world Pinot producers but I liked this less than the others I think.

August 20, 2022 - Pale ruby, medium plus nose of violet, red currant, strawberry, raspberry, hint of earth, light body, medium finish. Reminds me of volnay, maybe close to marquis d’angerville, simple, clean but really good balance. I have to say Bellhill is the best New Zealand Pinot noir I ever had, way more better than Felton road.
