June 6, 2021 - Do believe the hype. Stunning wine. Great depth and energy with wonderful precision. Went from strength to strength over 3 hrs open. A perfect bottle never moved since release.

August 26, 2020 - very fresh and supple. I dare say soft like a cloud. surprised by how fresh, complex and accessible this was. subdued minerality with hints of dried fruit. just delicious. at its peak but see another 10 yrs of great drinking.

March 7, 2020 - La Paulée de New York Gala Dinner (Pier Sixty, Chelsea Piers - New York NY): Small glass, brief note. Very rich fresh and baked apple with some dried apricot. Sweet hints starting to emerge in the middle from its graceful aging, but then this explodes on a long, refined finish.

November 9, 2018 - Werneckhof. Pretty much a perfect wine. A perfect bottle. Stunningly beautiful on the nose. Tight and closed when opened, then decanted for 4 hours. Super precise, focused, composed. Then at one point it exploded with the most beautiful and complex profile, elegance, finesse and utter power on the palate. Persisting for minutes.
