    April 27, 2015 - Alc: 13.5%
    Bright, mid gold
Noted development but hanging on by a thread with barley sugar, riper stone fruit, mineral, warm porridge oats and white chocolate.
Vibrant acidity on entry, plenty of chopped stones, whipped cream but then a sweetness edges forward with plenty of spun sugar, meringue alongside a slight marinated stone fruits (rumtoph) with stewed peaches. Certainly rich and fleshy broadening out the mid-palate I feel that it is starting to take the strain on the back palate with oxidation. Seen better days.

December 20, 2014 - The wine was medium yellow-golden in colour and offered baked apple, pear, dried apricot, lanolin, spices, honey, roasted almond and signs of bottle age on the nose. On the palate the wine showed baked apple, baked pear, citrus, roasted almond, nuts, lactic notes, chalk and a touch of honey, with medium to medium-plus acidity, moderate heat from the alcohol, a buttery mouthfeel and very good length. The full-bodied, rich, ripe and sweet wine was reasonable balanced and drank well. We liked it. Drink now.

July 7, 2009 - No formal notes, but I am enjoying the fullness and richness of this bottle which I couldn't detect last year.

October 19, 2008 - Golden yellow with notes of lemon, minerals and iodine (first opening with a little) mid palate is missing but the finish is long. There is a baked -chalk sensation. RATHER SWEET
Day 2- I'm still not getting the fullnes which I experienced from the En-primure tasting. Nice idodine/quinine notes on the palate and finish also some smokiness on the finish. Did show well with steamed lobster.
I will wait a few more years before I open any more of my 2005s from this producer.
