May 27, 2021 - CV1. Beautiful colour, transparent orange-red, broad orange edged, 2. Generous bouquet oozing of dried roses, forest floor, truffles, sweet spicy stuff difficult to pin down, really complex. Intense harmonious palate but at the same time elegant and airy, high acidity, medium tannin, well balanced, long elegant aromatic spicy finish. Drink now-onwards but no hurry. Wauvvv, this is in super condition. Bravo

December 5, 2015 - Light and weak brick red. Old nebbiolo aromas of lacquer / paint / aceton. Light weighted, lean and tender in the mouth. Some oxidation notes. Neither a very good bottle nor quite flawed.

March 28, 2015 - From memory. At Nice Matin, pristine bottle, decanted at dinner. Delicious and delicate textbook nebbiolo, from flowery nose through savory finish, lacking only great power and depth, which was not missed.

December 20, 2010 - Tasted together with Borgogno Barolo Riserva from the same vintage. No previous experience with wines as old as these. Cool label. New cork suggesting that the wine is from the producerĀ“s own library. Orange rim. Sharp acidity, good mature tannins, obviously not on the fruitier side, but impressively well-balanced and a straight-forward elegance which is very pleasing. Nice and complex. Good wine and good fun.
