May 28, 2016 - Leather, earth, smoke and dark coffee bean. Fresh with a nice acidity holding this together well. Loads of sweet red berry and cherry fruit on the finish. Big gripping tannin still lingering in this one. Structure and balance here. Decanted an hour. Big and powerful at 25. Excellent.

November 13, 2010 - Possibly after its time because most of the fruit had faded. Still can be enjoyable with a 2 hour decant for a wine nerd, but definite not a pop-n-pour nor a crowd pleaser.
