February 11, 2024 - Drinking well. Plenty of development awaits. More phenolic bitterness informs the structure than overt acidity, but this has fine balance and doesn’t suffer for the warmth of the vintage.

September 16, 2023 - The 2018 Albert Boxler Riesling is a very nice wine. It is very floral, and very aromatic. It has citrus on the palette, and a bouquet a flowers on the nose. Some may find this wine a bit too heavy, and a bit too sweet. It could be compared to a Sauternes. Call it what you like, I find it very delicious. Is it worth $45 a bottle? Oui Monsieur!

May 15, 2022 - Rich, full bodied, glycerin textured, dry Riesling which coats the palate. Stone fruits with mineral layer - a deep lasting flavor profile. Not your everyday Riesling.
