March 10, 2024 - Garnet colour with low sediment. Matured with distinct earthy taste, tabacco and lighter fruits like prunes or black cherries. Lower tannins and medium acidity. Medium body and aftertaste. Fine matured bordeaux wine, ready to drink with appropriate price.

January 30, 2024 - schöne Reife. Klassische Elganz. reichlich Frucht.
    Keine Kraftbombe.
jetzt mit Genuss zu trinken, bestimmt auch noch in 5-10 Jahren...

December 25, 2023 - After the last bottle, decided to open and decant this one 6 hours earlier and drank over a few hours. Kept on improving. Lacks a bit of fruit, soft and integrated. Classics Pauillac, and enjoyable enough, but never going to be a classic.

July 3, 2023 - I think I agree with some of the other posts here. Still seems quite tight and the tannins are quite pronounced still, but I'm not sure these will ever fully resolve and if they do, the fruit may be long gone. Has some nice Pauillac characteristics, but this was largely disappointing. I might try decanting the next bottle for a whole day or maybe it will improve in 3-5 years?

September 5, 2021 - Clean cork. Decanted for 1 hour - minimal sediment in the bottle. Medium ruby color in the glass with a fading, slightly garnet rim. Moderate aromas of tobacco, flint, black cherry and a touch of brett. The palate brings dried prune, black cherry, dusty earth and stone. Tannins are medium-high and still somewhat tight. Acidity is medium-low. Finishes at medium length. Showing nice secondary characteristics of an aged Boredeaux, but the fruit is starting to fade and will not be able to keep up with the tannins long-term. Recommended for drinking sooner than later.
