December 18, 2020 - Translucent red with hints of raspberry; light-medium bodied. Nose of light red fruits on the one hand; a more chewy, darker fruit jam on the other; intriguing nose because it threatens to be ephemeral but isn't. Light, juicy and fruity flavours: red fruits. Simple but there's also some structure that lends itself to food.

October 4, 2020 - There was a very suspicious vinegar note on the nose of this wine when I opened it. But thankfully, that blew off. Notes of fresh red cherries, raspberries, fresh herbs, black pepper and oyster shells. Medium bodied, medium + acid, serve with a chill. Vin de soif for sure.

August 14, 2020 - The short version: Delightful, fun, exuberant, joyous! Highly recommended!
The longer version: I had that experience in which you read about a wine online, see a photo of the label, and then it jumps out at you when you happen across it in a wine shop. Originally, I read read about this on SommSelect, but just happened across it at my local store. What a delight! This is a very light bodied red reminiscent of Chambolle, Jura, one of those light Grenaches that a wine maker once described to me as a "pool wine"; beautiful ruby transparency that is one of the, in the words of Eric Asimov, "paradoxical sorts of wines, reds that drink like whites...structured by acidity rather than tannins". I paired it with one of those "let's-see-what's-in-the-fridge" sort of dinners; which ended up being a pan seared blue cheese burger and a salad of raw sugar snap peas, cucumbers, pickled runner beans, and concord grapes. Believe it or not, this wine was marvelous; a true chameleon with food in the spirit of blanc-de-blanc Champagne or German Riesling. Bright, light, wonderful. I wouldn't call this "serious" in the way Bordeaux, CA Cab, expensive Burgundy etc. etc. is serious. It is just a wine that loves life- suited for a warm summer day, rather than a sterile tasting room or a stuffy restaurant. Enjoy it!2 people found this helpful Comment -

July 30, 2020 - Very nice med-light bodied red. At 12% alcohol, it has all the freshness you'd expect. I've had several successive vintages of this wine, and they have all been good. Starts out a little awkwardly fruity, but it becomes dry with nice acidic structure a short time after opening. This rocked on day 2 and 3 with a chill. Organic, from a woman winemaker.

July 23, 2020 - Pretty basic stuff here, emphasizing a straightforward fruitiness. To be honest, I get a note of white vinegar in the nose, less so in the taste but it seems to be there, too. Double-checked that with another taster who agreed. Tainted?
