April 14, 2024 - Absolutely killer nose. Palate was a little light. Structure is there. Interested to see how this ages - hopefully picks up some body.

April 6, 2024 - Consumed across 4 nights -- and best on the last night. What an awesome wine. Rich, waxy oak with well-integrated vanilla, an almost sherry-like dried fruit (mostly apricot), and a hint of clove.

Grateful I've got 2 more bottles to sit on and see how they evolve.

March 6, 2024 - Elegant vanilla oak with dried apricot/tropical fruit on the nose. Great high tasty acidity, still quite fruity with lemon and tropical fruit on the taste. Medium bodied, medium-long finish. I like this!

My first try of the Tondonia Reserva Bianco. Wow. What a wine.

It needs a little air, but then it’s a constantly shifting taste profile. Toasted marshmallow, honeysuckle, dried candied apricot, peaches, dried fig, roasted nuts. Lightning acidity, slightly waxy texture. Long finish with some saltiness and white fig.

It was best on the first and last two nights. The second night it went through this weird phase where it smelled and tasted like tequila.

Worth every penny of the release price, but secondary market prices are bonkers.

January 26, 2024 - Drank at House of Prime Rib. Went into this not sure what to expect. Came off pretty tart initially, with tart orchard and tropical fruit. Notes of cultured dairy came in afterwards, reminiscent of cultured butter, medium-sharp cheese, and sour cream. Alongside unripened yellow peaches and canary melon, touch of honey, this was quite the complicated wine. Hard to judge alongside food, but this lived up to the hype.
