May 17, 2022 - This is very much a california cab franc. It's big, concentrated, and has a strong punch of tannin. BUT, it's also in complete balance. It is highly floral on the nose, the palate has layers and layers of dark fruit, red fruit, some herbal notes, and the green pepper / pyrazine thing that I love about cab franc.
Based on the current structure, I'd guess this could go another 5 years easily, probably 10.
This is probably my favorite of California cab franc so far, but it does have the Napa markup so I'm not sure whether or not I'll buy again with the other options available. -

October 24, 2020 - Needs a few more years to mellow and will improve tremendously. Already a very solid wine
