  September 18, 2023 - Mariano Garcia and his sons doing excellent wines. This is a powerful yet balance RD. Nice lenght. Still in its infancy.

  January 31, 2021 - A nice surprise. Never tasted it before. An elegant and balanced modern Duero. Not as fruity as many others, not oaky as traditional ones. A great wine of a wonderful year for Duero. Enjoy now and for the next 3 years

  January 17, 2021 - Erst nur süße Kirsche in der Nase, Rosinen. Am Gaumen ganz ohne Tannine, Kirschlikör; dann erwachen die Tannine. Der Wein wird sofort frischer und klarer, die Struktur gibt im ein fleischiges Gefühl etwas im Mund zu haben, toll. Die Tannine sind noch jung aber sehr gut, im Laufe des Abends werden sie etwas überwältgend.
  2. Tag: Noch frischer und ausgewogener läuft er über die Zunge. Jetzt hat er auch Süßholznoten. Nicht nur erstaunlich gut am 2. Tag, sondern besser noch als am 1. Ein gutes Omen für seine zukünftige Entwicklung. Ich denke das er in ca. 3 Jahren zur Blüte kommt aber seine Lebensdauer sollte weit darüber hinaus gehen. Aalto bleibt mein Favorit aber ich brenne darauf die beiden Weine nebeneinander zu verkosten.
