April 18, 2024 - Two weeks in France; 4/12/2024-4/24/2024: Slightly flabby with honey and hazelnut on the first day, but when we retasted it the second day it had gained the textbook Roulot minerality that balanced out the sweetness. Better to cellar for some time.

April 17, 2024 - Splash decanted and drunk over 1.5 hours.
Very tense and fresh, not at all what I expected from a Meursault (and even more so a 2018 Meursault). Probably needs a lot more age, but fun to have tried. -

October 20, 2023 - Hard for me to imaging a much better 18. Reductive on the PnP, with some smoky French oak, excellent purity and concentration, with sliced pear and quince. Great acidity, but not as much as the Morgen Long X-Omni alongside.
