Community Tasting Notes 4

September 13, 2022 - Deep garnet. Cassis, cherry liquor nose. Hint of funk and barnyard. Black fruit, smooth, integrated, in good drinking window. Very nice.

June 4, 2021 - Deep red. On the nose there is a clear sous bois or undergrowth character, with spicy red berries lurking underneath. Relatively austere on the palate, with noticeably grippy tannins. Quite a serious Pinot for sub €20. I suspect this can improve for at least a couple further years, although of course it’s perfectly enjoyable now.

September 24, 2020 - laurent notes a very dry vintage with a lack of water. A very healthy vintage. The worried that the acidity would be to low at harvest but that didn't turn out to be the case. Reminds him of the 2015 vintage. Allot of whole vluster apparently. More on the bigger and fuller.

Young vines clos de mouches and then some other but blended across. Some spiciness and dark fruit b I t approachable now. Laurent notes that the length is because of the premier cru in the blend. Exclusively beaune.
