July 2, 2023 - Dark crimson in the glass. Haunting, earthy and enchanting on the nose - sweet tobacco, mint with red fruit. Medium to full bodied in tasting with medium-long finish. Precision tannins coat the front of your mouth. Fruit forward wine with strong backbone to give it body and length. Red fruit of cranberry, raspberry framboise and spice that at times could be made for cinnamon. Delightful wine with good years ahead of it - drinking well today

Seems like a bit of new oak on the nose. Solid fruit and a bit of tobacco. Maybe a tad primary? 11
Palate is more like vanilla coke and cherries followed right up by oranges, then lemon. Tobacco and tar present after a couple hours. Fruit quality showing through. 17
Maybe it was the company, but the overall enjoyment was really high. Loved it. 8 -
