January 15, 2022 - Decanted and had first glass within 15 minutes. Initally a little barnyard on the nose, but blew off by the time I poured the first glass. Used half in a beef bougogne. Good entry level Burgundy, but still mostly closed. Wife liked more than me, as compared to a 2018 SLH pinot. I'm not experienced at all with true Burgundies, drinking exclusively OR and CA pinots. Hope to do more Burgundy exploration but am not planning to get sucked into chasing the high end Burgs. Will continue to seek value where it can be found. Would seek out more of these to see how they develop.
