April 18, 2024 - Very delicious forward fruit; not much complexity. Nice length and balance. Youngish but drinking very well. Although this will improve hard to tell by how much. Will revisit in a couple of years.

Dark bright red ruby color with shades of purple👏
Full to medium body. High minus acidity. Well felt tanines but still very smooth with a great structure👏
Wonderfully aromatic, barrels, spices, red and black fruits, terroir👏
Rich, complex, heavy, full on the palate:
Oak, chocolate, coconut, cofee, smoke, anise, licorice, leather, stone, cheese, mushrooms, earthy, cherry, strawberries, plum, blackberries👏

November 15, 2023 - Nice wine. Gave it a brief decant to settle some overt sweet oak notes. Went well with read beans and rice with Andouille sausage. Nice hint of sweetness in the nose, smooth, with some spice. Figure have the other bottle in ~2027.
14.5% abv. No detectable heat or volatility.

September 21, 2023 - The deep, rich nose wafts dominating cherry plus strawberry, cocoa, and toasted oak. Barely full bodied, the tannins are dense and finely grained while the acid is significant but a little thin to be juicy, try as it might. Flavors include cherry, strawberry, cassis, red currant, seasoned leather, fine tobacco, lot of lean blood orange. It finishes slightly tart. This has stuffing to go for another ten-plus years.
