December 30, 2023 - Still quite good although almost certainly past its peak. Deep ruby color, some sediment (like a fine silt), decanted for 30+ minutes. Nose of cherry, leather, and weathered wood. Medium-short finish.

October 20, 2016 - Interesting wine, reminiscent of Bodegas Tacuil offerings. Peppers, cut tobacco, herbs, richness, and umami. Great acid, integrated tannins, lush mouthfeel, substantive finish. Drink by 2018.
