December 3, 2023 - Argentinean Bordeaux blend and a wine I've enjoyed on numerous occasions across multiple vintages. Smooth, bold, lots of structure. blackberry vanilla, chocolate, plum, tobacco.

November 12, 2023 - Nose is fantastic and complex right from the start - rich, dark bramble with hints of black olives, roasted bell peppers, and blackberries. On the palate the Malbec is expectedly dominant: savory, briny, but with a backbone of dark fruit and some notable oak (which receded as the wine opened up). Served slightly above cellar temperature with about 40 minutes in the decanter, I would probably give this wine a little longer to breath next time. It certainly has the legs to lay down for a while. 92+

February 14, 2023 - Gran Enemigo 2016 tasting, via tubes samples (Oinoscent): The wine shows bright, purple color, floral and fruit notes, herbal notes, green notes, inky blue notes. Palate is very elegant, blue fruit again, medium body, juicy tannins, a touch warm, medium finish

February 3, 2023 - A wonderful wine and even better at $50 per bottle. Still a little young but drinking wonderfully. Bdx blend of 50% Malbec, 15% CF, 15% CS, 10% Merlot, and 10% PV. Bold and rich, with flavors of blackberry, black cherry, vanilla, leather, chocolate, plum, licorice.
