May 4, 2024 - Wow, my first experience that American Syrah can be in this northern Rhone style! Intense on the nose, lovely mouthfeel and long finish. Would have guessed cote rotie or hermitage. Drinks perfect now. Have now experience with American Syrah and age.

April 7, 2024 - Darker and zippier than almost all other K Vintners syrahs, even earlier vintages of the Deal. Pepper and black currant, not my thing. Maybe it is the acidicity, but I think there's something more to it. Not my favorite, but well done. Probably my least favorite K Vintners syrah ever and I have tried dozens and then dozens. Come think if it, this is almost like the raisin wine Amarone. Not a compliment.

March 15, 2024 - Very peppery with notes of black fruit, plum and raspberry, with a little smokey meat.

December 26, 2023 - Perfecto Syrah, reminds me of Saxum. Drinking well now. I just poured leftover from two days ago and still very good. Reidel Vinum Syrah glass.

November 9, 2023 - This is fine. Many elements of a good Syrah are here, but they aren't knit together or in balance. PnP'ed, it's dominated by soft textures and lactic flavors on opening, then as it gets air, the finish collects tannin and becomes rough. Curious, but not my favorite of the K wines I've had.
