March 14, 2009 - Popped and poured. Light plummy, strawberry color. Nose shows light red fruit and a bit of earthiness and flint. Palate follows with more intensity than the color indicates, with sour cherries, strawberries and a little leather. Tannins show up moderately on the medium finish. Overall, a nice wine, fairly priced. Flavor profile lacks complexity, but it is reasonably well balanced, not over-oaked and easy to drink. Wouldn't run out to buy more, but don't feel bad about paying around $20 for it either. 5+13+16+5.

January 2, 2009 - As I recall we liked this one pretty well. Really need to be better about recording these.

October 17, 2008 - Lots of pinot funk on the nose. Also some candy smells. Nice cherry and earthy flavors. Balanced. Not much oak. Decent finish. I liked this wine a lot.

July 8, 2008 - nose of raspberries and strawberries with a bit of sugar. On the palate the wine has nice acidity, and good mouthfeel. Has a tiny bit of spice on the back end which is nice. Had the bottle open for about 45 minutes and aerated each glass. Would have rated a bit higher but the nose wasn't quite there for me, I almost thought it had some fakeness to it.

April 5, 2008 - Nice cherry/raspberry nose, bit of a burning sensation on the palate
