May 11, 2024 - Very pale brown colour
Lots of strawberry fruit, some jam with a long nutty finish.

March 14, 2024 - Opened for #tawnytuesday. Purchased for $42. Another outstanding 20. I've really been digging these 20-Year Tawnies. Lovely darker tawny color with lots of ruby. Very youthful looking. The nose is powerful and expressive. As soon as you pour a glass, the aromas fill the immediate vicinity. Caramel, stone fruits (my favorite) and vanilla and orange rind. On the palate, lots of stone fruit (peach and nectarine), caramel, and orange rind. Just on the 'sweet side' of 'neutral'. FANTASTIC mouthfeel. Very unctuous and enveloping. And such lively acidity. Medium length finish. My only "qualm" is I want that finish to last longer. Otherwise, this is outstanding.

    OPINION:
    Highly Recommended

November 12, 2022 - Burnt orange color. Smoky orange peel and toasted nuts on the nose. The palate is a bit more tart than many 20 year tawnies, with nice butterscotch and walnut notes. Long finish. Round mouthfeel. Not as complex as others, but enjoyable nonetheless.

December 18, 2020 - Pale brick/orange in color. Restrained aromas of bright red berry fruits, citrus zest, baking spices, cigar box. Very silky palate reveals just sweet fruitcake, toasted nuts, good acidity and a very long and perfumed finish. This is quite good for the price.

September 23, 2019 - 2019 FTLOP Harvest Tour; 9/19/2019-9/28/2019 (Portugal): Bottled in 2018. Orange in color with light amber notes. Hints of wood and spirit on the nose. Rich, full body on the mouthfeel with caramel, orange peel, and a touch of bitterness on the finish. Slightly drying tannins on the long finish.
