  December 8, 2021 - Excellent wine, very similar to classic claret. Deep red and strong red fruit and luscious tannins at the end

  October 10, 2021 - I agree completely with the previous two posts. Very attractive, complex wine with plenty of juicy acidity, dark, mainly cherry fruit. I got some savoury spice, white pepper, and a little smoke with cedar on the long aftertaste. Good next day, too. A worthwhile buy from the Wine Society.

  December 20, 2020 - Sweet and spicy nose: cedar, cigar box, nutmeg, cloves, plum pudding. So rich, like Christmas. On the palate still quite fresh! Lively acid, blackberry, fine tannin like a fine Earl grey. Long finish, warming heat. For £15 cannot think of a better Sunday night red in December.

  October 29, 2020 - Lovely ripe autumn fruit in the nose, brambles, there’s a little spice here, perhaps nutmeg.
  Quite structured, a little tannic grip and some earthy leather notes and more spice. I think there must be some oak ageing here. Nice ripe fruit with a refreshing edge.
  Nice wine, especially at £15 a bottle from The Wine Society.
