October 7, 2018 - An absolutely stunning wine. Was a little concerned when the cork broke but this an amazing wine experience. Almost bricklike in colour, hints of medicinal, a bit musty like a barnyard but in a good way. Flavours of cedar, old tobacco, wet hay, leaves, stewed plums, and a lasting intensity that was unbelievable. Definitely in my top 5 of all time.

May 31, 2018 - Consisten with previous notes. Decant at least 90 min

April 2, 2015 - Definitely peaking IMHO. Gorgeous elegant red to dark fruits with a layer of leather and earth. Went well with smoked duck ravioli and antipasti.

October 10, 2013 - A very solid classic Barolo - notes of raspberry, earth, surprisingly tannic but the tannins are fairly well rounded with a nice finish.
