January 31, 2024 - Nose of garrigue and cherry with a touch of cinnamon. A dry wine that needs food but the Sangiovese cherry notes followed by cigar box are there, complemented by plum from the Merlot (could have used more). I actually liked this wine better when it was younger. Drink now.

Cherry, raspberry, earth, oak, leather
Med + acid, med tannin, nicely rounded, dry, 14, med body.
Palate is Blueberry, cherry, raspberry, minerality, mushroom, leather, damp cedar. Med + finish hear ng toward oak, leather, and aging notes. Potting soil.
