May 1, 2021 - Mid purple-ruby
Dark fruit aromas intermingled with wood smoke and baked berry pie.
A juicy entry with grippy sweet tannins has flavours of blue and black fruits with oak spices lingering in the background. Full-bodied and quite generous; the fruity styling is forward, making it super easy to drink. Lovely richness and ripeness to the fruit with that smoky, almost BBQ elements (like in the Shiraz). Down the line, well-made SA Cabernet. -

March 5, 2021 - Zoom tasting of South African wines, hosted by Stone Vine & Sun, Hampshire, UK. Bright garnet colour, although a hint of cloudiness. Lovely nose, deep blackcurrants, heathland. Rich palate, full, spicy, earthy, clean. Very good. Will keep 3 years.
