October 25, 2021 - Expressive nose. Bruised red cherries. Some confection. Not too much oak?
Bruised cherries again on the palate. High acidity. Medium tannins.
Interesting Sangiovese from the Okanagan. But I agree with the others, would've preferred a higher proportion of Sangiovese.
July 16, 2022 - finished the bottle that’s been under a Coravin for 9 months. Nose is still very lovely confection, bruised cherries, dare I say jammy? Possibly slow oxidation? -

October 15, 2020 - A new addition to the LaStella lineup and not a bad attempt at all. This is a blend of 50% Sangiovese with the remaining a blend of Merlot, Cab Sauvignon and Cab Franc. The nose is very pretty with dark cherries, plums, rose petals and cake spices. The palate was quite lively and playful with fresh berry fruit, bright acidity along with a slightly savory backbone, lots going on here and it just about works, maybe I am a traditionalist, however I would have preferred to see a greater majority of Sangiovese with a touch of Merlot, drop the two Cabs I just don't see what they add to the blend. I must admit compared to other wines from LaStella this is certainly one of their better wines. 90 points drink now.
