March 6, 2023 - Jon Harrison review is spot on. Great QPR.

November 11, 2022 - (Imported by Sera Imports, NY). These grapes were grown in the remote and beautiful French countryside in the Côtes du Roussillon. West of Carcassonne. Not far from the French-Spanish border. Syrah, Grenache, and Carignan
    ________________

    Color: Medium-dark ruby.

Nose: Expressive aromas of black raspberry liqueur, port, and garrigue spices. Nice rich complexity.

Pal: Tastes of dark sun-dried fruits, almost like port. But no sting or bitterness on the finish. Soft tannns, and perfect balance in the mouth. 15% alc, but no excessive heat.

I really like this wine. Light on it's feet but wonderful rich flavor. This is a fabulous Côtes du Roussillon. Much better than most Côtes du Rhone at this price point.

    Great value at $16 usd.
A great wine to drink in the Fall and Winter with stews, coq au vin, and similar rich fare.

October 9, 2022 - Gifted from a friend. Make sure to give it a while to open up

Appearance: deep purple color with hints of ruby

Nose: Fresh and clean with medium intense aromas of just underripe black plumb and blackberry, and wood shavings with notes of pepper and tobacco

Palate: Full bodied, medium acid, high tannins, grippy texture, dry but with a little bit of RS. Medium intense flavors of black cherry and blackberry with notes of graphite. Medium balance and complexity with a nice medium length  purple fruit and perfumy finish.

Polished and full bodied with lots of dark fruits. Very fun to drink!

June 30, 2022 - Typically French dry, smooth, pleasant red, be sure to let breathe! Excellent value

June 2, 2022 - Random wines tried before service (Oinoscent): Cotes du Roussillon villages , 15%, Syrah- Grenache-Carignan
The wine shows heady profile, warm, ripe to overripe black fruit, licorice, spicy, prunes, reductive, raisiny, heavy handed, aggressive, caramel
In the palate, the wine shows much lighter profile than expected, overripe fruit, tight tannins, medium acidity, very warm from the alcohol, medium finish filled with raisins and prunes
