October 26, 2023 - Fresch! Saline, oysters, grille lemons. Small bubbels and an aftertaste that just keep lingering... A truly great bottle!

March 16, 2019 - A golden colour. The nose has some honey, white mushroom, grilled nuts and baked apple. Backed apple and brioche flavours abound on the palate. It has the vintage's line of strong, minerally acidity.

October 12, 2018 - The best 88 Champagnes from 1988 Part 1/3; 10/12/2018-10/13/2018 (Les Crayeres Reims): Blind, Jamesse Synergie Glas, Magnum
for many slightly corked, no rating

June 2, 2017 - Appreciable pressure under the cork, plentiful bead in the glass. Deep gold colour. Pungent, mature nose: broad and buttery; pear tatin. Vibrant palate, with good acidity and plentiful caramel. Rich and balanced, and still very much alive. [Cork + cage; 12% abv; Nickolls & Perks, £100].

March 31, 2014 - Much fresher than the 1st bottle, golden hue, oxidative nose but very Pol, very '88 and really nice mature flavours.
