Community Tasting Notes 4

  • Double-A Likes this wine: 90 points

March 9, 2024 - Aromatic, savoury nose of black olive, currant, polished leather, mushroom, and toast. Medium-full-bodied with good flavour replays and structured, integrated tannins; long, evolving, textured finish.
    4/5

November 9, 2023 - Trop boisé pour le moment.

    August 31, 2023 - Appearance - clear, opaque, ruby

Nose - clean, youthful, alcohol eye burn, black berry fruits. Notes are very primary. Medium plus intensity..

Palate - very easy to drink. Youthful. Balanced but young. Cellar this wine. Medium plus body. Alcohol lists as 14%. Feels balanced and integrated. Medium plus body. Tannins are velvet and medium plus. On finish. Your gums get kind of itchy. Notes are fresh ripe black fruit. Berries.

Wine is fine to drink now but wait on a few bottles.

April 26, 2023 - I am a fan of this rather unknown chateau and once I see a bottle at a reasonable price I will buy it. It came as a surprise to me that the 2019 is already open for drinking. It is full bodied and rather hedonistic. Of course, some cellar time would make it even better.
