November 4, 2023 - Fruit is more ripe but it is a bit disjointed also, and there are some green notes paired with lots of acidity still. It is still very enjoyable to me but it is still not for everyone.

October 13, 2023 - Went on to JR reviews to put my finger on what’s different about this chard - it’s the ‘volcanic’, granity aftertaste - certainly agree it’s got a start, middle and finish and it’s this reductive finish that really sets it apart from other New World chards

September 22, 2023 - Much admired by my French guests, but I found the gunflint and oak far too dominant.

April 19, 2023 - Looking at other notes the highly reductive nose is the house style. A good wine lies underneath no doubt but i's very hard to find this an attraccive drink.

April 6, 2023 - Practicing my WSET tasting notes here:
It looks clear, pale and lemon.
It has a pronounced nose of lemon, lime, apple, pear, pineapple, toast, butter, vanilla, oak and warm spice. The wine is youthful.
On the palate, it is dry, high acid, medium alcohol, full body, with medium intensity of lemon, lime, apple, pear, pineapple, toast, butter, vanilla, oak, warm spice. The finish is medium. The wine is good. It should be drunk now, and is not suitable for further ageing.
