April 13, 2024 - I was a bit shocked at how good this was - it's come on significantly since the last bottle I had last year. This was very well balanced, with delicious blue and black fruit, just the right amount of structure, a hint of acidity - very pure fruit, very complete and satisfying. This was great value at $42 from GrandVin. I've been to the winery a few times and found it to be a nice experience too, though it's gotten a bit too formal and expensive.

April 5, 2024 - Great QPR on the pop and pour. Great dark fruit, no overbearing oak, chewy tannins, shortish finish but for the price, I don’t think you can beat it! I’m a fan of this producer but easily beats out other entry level cabs from other producers. Wish I had more.

June 16, 2023 - Friday Night Brown Bagger (R&R's): Double blind. Deep crimson/garnet color. Notes of plum, violet and black fruit. Full-bodied and ripe- in a good way- with cassis, blueberry, mocha and chocolate flavors with a lingering finish. Easy to pick out as a young Napa cab sauv; tasty. 90+ pts. (R&D)

June 14, 2023 - A bit underwhelmed. Was expecting more based on 93-95 point reviews from critics and strong plugging by K&L.

Nice nose. Decanted 2 hours. It was pretty hot at time of opening. Still a bit hot when drinking with dinner. Some fruit on the palate but didn't really get me excited. We finished the bottle but didn't really come away with a screaming urge to buy more. Perhaps this would show better in a couple of years -- this didn't really compare very favorably to a couple of Cabs (2015 & 2016) that I've had over the last 7 months or so.
