  April 25, 2016 - Weekly tasting group #211; A fully blind test. (@ My place): Mature bouquet with forest floor, animals and rustic flavors. On the palate ripe dark berries, sweet spices, a touch of pleasant sweetness and also good acidity and round, slightly sticky and a bit drying tannin. Beautiful wine, ready now and the next few years. 90 - 91

  January 31, 2015 - Very interesting addition to a Douro tasting. Very evolved, greens with chocolate or liquor notes as well. Fine and elegant in the mouth - certainly worth trying again

  January 26, 2015 - Weekly tasting group #153; A fully blind test. (@ The factory by AH): Dark fruits and chocolate. Same on the palate. Sweet spices like cinnamon. Pleasant acidity and silky soft tannin. The wine is completely ready now. Drink over the next year or two.

  July 28, 2014 - Weekly tasting group #128; A mixed set of wines. (@ DJ): Beautiful bouquet with ripe red and dark forest fruits. On the palate ripe fruits, a lot of sweet spices, some chocolate, beautiful acidity and soft tannin. A beautiful wine; ready now and the next few years.

  December 31, 2013 - Full-bodied, with leather, dark fruit, a hint of camphor. Wonderful wine that really got going a couple hours after opening.
