Community Tasting Notes 2

  • Keith Levenberg Likes this wine:

April 15, 2023 - Bright and racy as dry German riesling always is, but in a user-friendly style without the aggressive, wincing acidity that characterizes many a trocken. Instead, it's built around a backdrop of soft, gentle fruit with streamwater-like purity infused with zesty lemons.

August 30, 2020 - Back to Riesling County; 8/27/2020-8/31/2020 (Estates at the Nahe and Ruwer, different restaurants at Bad Kreuznach, Niederhausen and Trier): Their new bought site at Schlossböckelheim, some 0,6 hectares steep..... extremely steep floor, right beneath the Felsenberg, but different,
more fruit driven, very juicy appearance full of ripe grapefruit, always amazing what some 100 meters left or right gives a different bottled liquid, some white peach though, spice, but the gun powder is Felsenberg origin, more open, but needs some 3+ years in the bottle to get balanced, **(*-****)
