February 20, 2022 - Decanted 2 hours prior to tasting. A bit spicy and warm aromas. Some alcohol and currant can also be found. On the palate there are notes of chocolate, currant, dark cherries and raisins. A bit sweet and alcoholic with bitterness coming in as secondary flavour. Had it with beef tenderloin, potato gratin, mushrooms and a gravy on balsamico.
