March 24, 2024 - This has an amazing purity of strawberry and raspberry fruit, over an earthy core of robust tannins and acidity, with a touch of tar and a hint of dried rose petals. Medium bodied, elegant, this is a dancer. Almost ethereal in that there is clearly a big robust structure here but the fruit carries it, without being in any way a heavy extraction. 14% ABV. Long, persistent finish, fairly straightforward at this juncture. Suggest waiting 5 to 10 years to have this at it’s best.

March 17, 2024 - Glorious perfume, super expressive, rose petals nose. Super elegant, perfect balance of fruit and quite a soft structure. Medium plus weight. Long and complex. Drinking now.

January 28, 2024 - The one with Luca Roagna (Teochew Paradise): Old school Nebbiolo expression that would, in time to come, shine no doubt. There certainly is great potential but it is certainly not complete today. Roses, elegant red fruit, strawberries and sage on the opening while palate shows much darker - black plums, cedar, dried roses and fresh cut grass on the palate. There is high fruit concentration here alongside a sturdy tannin structure and with time surely this will soften. Good finesse and power today but keep it away in the darkest part of your cellar!

January 28, 2024 - Pronounced nose intensity with notes of mushroom, truffle, red fruits, toast, spices. Medium+ acidity and high tannin. Still youthful.

December 23, 2023 - Pure strawberry fruit, rose petal and tar. An elegant Barolo that possessed lots of power yet finessed. Lovely.
