March 4, 2023 - A pale lemon yellow color. Aromatic intensity at heights, lots of tropical fruit with guava in the spotlight, citrus fruits too, vegetable present with cut grass, wet stone and also a little cat pee. Young wine.
Almost dry, high acidity, little body and slightly velvety. And a long finish with a tropical fruit feeling.
With this acidity and so much fruit, it can still wait a few years.

December 16, 2022 - The back label points to “tropical flavours” and there is an element of this but the nose and palate are still dominated by green grass, gooseberry and cat’s pee. A very decent NZ SB but does not hit the heights. I agree with Callum; not as good as the 2018.

December 24, 2021 - For the holiday celebration, this is still a good white wine as I wrote before.

September 17, 2021 - It is still a relatively inexpensive Sauvignon Blanc with similar quality as those in Cloudy Bay. Good for casual drinking.

April 17, 2021 - This is a relatively inexpensive New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc with much better value and similar quality than one such as Cloudy Bay. It comes with crisp flavor and very much aromatic of grass and passion fruit, slight apple and pineapple. Its color is pale and a bit green. The icier it is in the bucket for a while, the drier and much more touch of minerals I taste. It is light-bodied, medium acid, refreshing and enjoyable summer wine. It pairs well with my sashimi. A medium to long finish to me. Highly recommend.
