  December 20, 2021 - Refined palate of pineapple tart, pear, vanilla and soft oak influence. Acidity is surprisingly big but balances well with a savory and rich mouthfeel. Opens up much more at warmer temps.

  September 14, 2021 - Very deep straw or almost golden.
  Lifted ripe fruit profile. Poached peach or BBQ pineapple. Loads ove vanilla. Ripe. No mineral. Lemon meringue.
  Very full bodied. Sweet fruit. Supple and slippery. Maybe silky.
  Certainly not my style. Great for cashed up American bogans with a simple palate. Rest of the world would not understand.

  June 21, 2021 - Overall a very tasty Chardonnay from ZD. Not my favorite vintage from them but still very enjoyable. Substantial ripe pineapple and apricot, and maybe a bit too much oak and slightly oily. Sweet vanilla, pear, apple and honey provide a full bodied and rich weight on the palate. Ripe tropical fruit and balanced acidity. Subtlety and nuance are not this wine’s dominant character but in the low $30s it is still an excellent value.
