February 5, 2024 - I love this wine. Concentrated, great acid mineral structure, great fruit characteristics, long finish. It is important to let it breathe and drink at 55 F or higher. The refrigerator temp is way too cold. Wish I had more!

April 13, 2023 - Smoke, minerals and some oak in the bouquet. On the palate smoke, well dosed oak, yellow fruits, juicy and fresh acidity, very tasty and a good length. Full bodied and elegant at the same time. Beautiful wine.

June 6, 2021 - "Brunch is the gamay of meals" (Chicago, IL): To be honest, I didn't know Clau de Nell made a chenin at all (this is a relatively new planting according to the resident Wilson rep). Clearly another relatively ripe chenin with predominantly yellow-tinged fruit. Drops off a little on the midpalate, but then picks up again towards the finish.
